Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in the US. She is most famous for her character Skyler White on the AMC television drama Breaking Bad for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. The other roles she played are Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. She was enthralled by acting in the Preparatory school, before moving to Ohio with her family in the later in the 1970s. She studied theatre at Northwestern University and spent a time with the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for a number of years before taking on film and television roles. Anna's debut role was Arden, in Down the Shore. She played in 29 episodes. She continued to appear as guest stars on a handful of TV shows and films like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue till the latter part of the 1990's, when she was tapped in a recurring role as Jean Ward in The Practice. She was cast as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. In 2008, she was as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully as well as Deadwood are also among the highlights of her oeuvre. Gunn also took to the stage in David Schwimmer's production of Sex With Strangers. In addition, she was a part of Numbered Days, a show comprised of four audio dramas. Breaking Bad's plot is typically focused on the relationship between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their difficult relationship. The relationship's strain and eventual end of it is reminiscent of the last years of Walter White's story.
