Patina Miller

Patina Patina PatinaMiller was the main actor in Stephen Schwartz's celebrated production of "Pippin" at Broadway. Diane Paulus won the Tony Award at the 67th annual Tony Awards for Best Revival of a Musical. "Pippin" was a musical featuring Matthew James Thomas with Andrea Martin, Terrence Man, Matthew James Thomas as well as Terrence Man, was directed by Diane Paulus. Patina created her own modern version of the award-winning Ben Vereen's part and managed to master the Fosse dance moves which are essential to the production. Patina's performance earned her a Tony Award in the category of Outstanding Actress in a Leading Role Musical. The Outer Critics Circle Award was as well for Outstanding Actress. Her prior role was as a Leading Actor on stage at American Repertory Theater in "Pippin", from December 2012 through January 2013. Miller made her Broadway debut in the 2011 Broadway season as the gutsy nightclub-singer-turned-nun "Deloris Van Cartier" in the stage adaptation of "Sister Act", which earned her first Tony nomination, as well as Drama Desk, Drama League, and Outer Critics Circle Award nominations for her performance.
